A mini-library has been set up in the Parliament Square. This cultural space, called the European Library, was inaugurated on National Culture Day to promote reading. The project aims to provide book lovers with access to books through the installation of wooden boxes operating on the principle of “Take a book, leave a book!”
The Speaker of Parliament, Igor Grosu, alongside a group of MPs, Secretariat staff, and children, contributed to stocking the library by donating their favorite books. These books are available for the public to borrow and read.
Igor Grosu welcomed the project expansion to other public institutions and expressed gratitude to partners for supporting the shared idea of installing the library at Parliament. He also encouraged reading enthusiasts to exchange books and show interest in reading.
