Ram Charan’s Game Changer is a film that everyone has been eagerly waiting for. Directed by Shankar, the movie hit the screens on January 10, 2025, and earned a whopping ₹51 crore on its opening day. However, from day two, things took a turn as negative talk about the film spread rapidly, fueled by anti-fans.
Game Changer latest collections
Although the collections were decent initially, the film’s occupancy steadily declined with each passing day. As of now, Game Changer has completed 10 days of its theatrical run and has crossed the ₹125 crore mark. The makers claim that the film has reached a safe zone, ensuring all parties involved have recovered their investments.
However, for the movie to enter the profit zone, it needs to earn ₹135 crore. With a massive production budget of ₹400 crore, most of the investment will be recovered through post-release rights.
Game Changer day 10 box office collection
With the festive season now over, occupancy is expected to drop significantly starting Monday. There is no denying that the numbers are likely to decrease substantially. In the U.S., the film has grossed just over $2 million.
Made on a grand scale, Game Changer was in production for the last three years due to Shankar’s simultaneous involvement in Indian 2. While Shankar showcased Ram Charan in the best way possible, the general opinion is that the film did not live up to the high expectations set before its release.
Game Changer
Adding to the challenges, Game Changer was leaked online just four days after its release, and a major piracy racket was subsequently busted. Ram Charan expressed gratitude to the media and critics for appreciating his performance but refrained from commenting on fan groups, who have reportedly caused social media conflicts and fan wars.
With collections expected to drop further, it remains to be seen how much the Ram Charan starrer will earn in the coming days. For now, the film’s theatrical run is likely to conclude by the end of this week. Stay tuned for more updates.
