Carbon County, Utah — Carbon County Office of Tourism is proud to announce that applications for the 2025 Public Art Grant Program will open on February 3, 2025. This marks the Office of Tourism’s third year providing funding for this impactful project. This program, designed to foster creativity and enhance community spaces, offers an incredible opportunity for artists, businesses, and municipalities to collaborate on projects that beautify and inspire. The deadline for submissions is March 14, 2025, at 11:59 PM MT.
Art holds a vital role in the development of vibrant communities. Public art not only beautifies our shared spaces but also fosters a sense of identity and pride, attracts visitors, and supports tourism. These projects create lasting impacts, sparking dialogue and connections while enriching the cultural landscape of the Carbon Corridor.
Timeline:
- Application Period: February 2, 2025 – March 14, 2025
- Award Notification: No later than April 10, 2025 ● Project Completion Deadline: June 1, 2026
- Grant funds must be matched by a business, artist, or city
