SHASTA COUNTY, Calif. – This Valentine’s season, spread the love of reading by participating in the Love of Literacy Book Drive, taking place from February 1–14. Your generous donations of new or gently used books for children and teenagers will help fill Little Free Libraries across Shasta County, providing young readers with access to inspiring stories that spark their imaginations and fuel their dreams.
The book drive is organized by Reach Higher Shasta, a community movement dedicated to increasing student opportunities in education, training, and career choices. The Love of Literacy Book Drive aims to ensure that more local youth have access to books, fostering a lifelong love of reading.
