The 47th President of the United States has been installed. We have a new leader in Washington … Donald Trump.
This administration, as with the past 46 administrations, will need to find their own path, and bring together a divided electorate. Which is the case after any election.
That being said, we can all agree that the 2024 election cycle is truly unique. However, when all the facts are in, historians will write about this with the clarity that only hindsight can provide.
We don’t have that luxury. We live in the moment and must move forward. And we need a leader that’s up to the task.
Being a good leader is a conscious decision.
For example, an experienced coach will take people from different ages, backgrounds, education and race and bring them together into a successful unit. The players don’t all agree and there is always contention. But everyone expects the coach to do everything possible to lead them to where they need to go.
The United States of America is a nation of 330 million people. We are men, women, white, black, Hispanic, religious, atheist, gay, handicapped, conservative, liberal and all factions in between.
Trump asked for and was granted the responsibility to lead. Now it’s up to him to turn us into a team.
