Veera Dheera Sooran- Part 2, the upcoming Tamil film starring actor Vikram in the lead role, is all set to hit theatres very soon. While the makers had earlier announced that the film would be released in January, a new release date was announced on Wednesday, January 22. The Vikram-starrer is slated to be released on March 27.
Veera Dheera Sooran release date out
We had earlier reported that Vikram is set to star in SU Arun Kumar’s film Veera Dheera Sooran. The makers had earlier announced while releasing the teaser that the film will hit theatres in January 2025. However, the plans never did work given how Ajith Kumar’s Vidaamuyarchi took over the Pongal slot only to be postponed later.
Now, on Wednesday, the makers of Veera Dheera Sooran announced a new release date. It will come out on March 27 in big screens. The upcoming film is directed by SU Arun Kumar, who previously directed the critically acclaimed film Chittha. You can stream the film on Disney+ Hotstar right now.
Interestingly, the second part of Veera Dheera Sooran will be released now, with the prequel set for a release later. Produced by Riya Shibu under the banner HR Pictures, Veera Dheera Sooran is expected to be an action drama.

The film also stars actors Dushara Vijayan, SJ Suryah, Siddique, and Suraj Venjaramoodu, among others in pivotal roles. GV Prakash will be scoring music and Theni Eswar will be handling the camera. The edits are done by Prasanna GK, with CS Balachandar serving as the art director. Veera Dheera Sooran’s plot has not yet been revealed by the makers.
Meanwhile, after this film, Vikram, who was last seen in Thangalaan, will be working with Maaveeran fame director Madonne Ashwin. The film is touted to be an out-and-out entertainer.
