The Business Professionals of America (BPA) organization at the Washington County Career Center elected its chapter officers recently.
The chapter includes students from the Digital Marketing and Graphic Design & Video Production programs.
Officers for the 2024-25 school year are:
– Co-President, Blake Partlow, is a senior from Belpre enrolled in the Digital Marketing program. He is the son of Joseph Law and Kimmy Hazelett of Belpre.
– Co-President, Janessa Ross, is a senior from Fort Frye enrolled in the Graphic Design & Video Production program. She is the daughter of Anthony Ross of Marietta and Jessica Zumbro of Lowell.
– Treasurer, Emma Brooker, is a senior from Fort Frye enrolled in the Graphic Design & Video Production program. She is the daughter of Mark Brooker of Churchtown and Traci Fickiesen of Reno.
– Secretary, Hanna Richmond, is a senior from Belpre enrolled in the Graphic Design & Video Production program. She is the daughter of Gabriel and Carrie Richmond of Belpre.
– Historian, Naomi Lee Oliver, is a senior from Marietta enrolled in the Graphic Design & Video Production program. She is the daughter of Jeff Lee Oliver of Marietta and Cherry Lee Oliver of Marietta.
– Parliamentarian, Brighton Eichhorn, is a senior from Waterford enrolled in the Graphic Design & Video Production program. He is the son of Josh and Cathy Eichhorn of Waterford.
The Information Technology programs are a combination of high-level academic courses and state-of-the-art technology courses. The programs of instruction provide opportunities for students to prepare for and achieve career objectives in business and computer occupations. BPA is a student organization for high school and college students that helps prepare for a world-class workforce. Through co-curricular programs and services, members compete in technical competitions, develop leadership skills, network with one another and professionals across the nation, and get involved in community service.
