Some might say the United States is going through a bit of a rough patch, but so is Elon Musk.
Musk’s billion-dollar company, Tesla, had its shares fall 40% since January…
Tesla dealerships are currently being attacked by arsonists amid his DOGE efforts…
And most recently, a top Tesla investor requested Musk step down as the company’s CEO…
Well, Gov. Tim Walz recently rubbed in Tesla’s misfortune at a town hall where he mocked Tesla’s stock value. “They’ve got that little stock app. I added Tesla to it to give me a little boost during the day. 225 and dropping,” Walz told the audience.
Musk seemingly caught wind of Walz’s comments and recently responded in a Fox News interview.
“My companies are suffering because I’m in the government…do you think it helps sales if dealerships are being firebombed? Of course not.”
“I mean, you have Tim Walz, who is a huge jerk, running around on stage with the Tesla stock price, where the stock price had gone in half. And he was overjoyed.”
“What an evil thing to do. What a creep. What a jerk. Like, who derives joy from that?”
People online aren’t exactly feeling sorry for Musk. Here’s what they’re saying:
“Yes, what kind of person would gloat about companies they don’t like losing money?” one person wrote, including a screenshot of Elon Musk repeatedly writing, “Go woke, go broke” on his X account.
“isn’t this the same guy who wielded a chainsaw on stage to signify the jobs he was ending and the benefits he was cutting?” another person wrote.
Here’s Elon at this year’s CPAC event:
As this person said, “Tim Walz really got under his skin”
“I never thought I’d come across someone more whiny, narcissistic, self-pitying, annoying or dishonest than Trump but…” another wrote.
And finally, “He’s somehow the richest man on earth but also the biggest victim.”
Yikes. Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
