As the body count rises, the friends investigate the origins of the deadly artifact in a desperate effort to stop the horrifying chain of events they have set in motion.
“Whistle” marks Hardy’s, who started out directing music videos, third film and his first since 2017’s “The Nun” of “The Conjuring” franchise.
The film premiered at the prestigious genre-driven Fantastic Fest last September after being picked up by Independent Film Company, Shudder, and Black Bear for United States, United Kingdom, and Ireland distribution. Philippine distribution is being handled by Pioneer Films.
“Whistle” has been approved without cuts by the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board, promising audiences an uncompromised and intense cinematic experience.
