Oscar-winning actor Robert Duvall portrayed unforgettable characters during his seven-decade Hollywood career.
A Hollywood legend’s story ended Sunday after starring in some of cinema’s greatest stories ever told.
Robert Duvall died at age 95. He starred in over 140 movies and shows, scoring an Oscar for his role in “Tender Mercies” but perhaps best known as Lt. Col. Bill Kilgore in “Apocalypse Now” and Tom Hagen in the first two “Godfather” films.

The Greatest: (1977) Muhammad Ali plays himself in a reconstruction of the events that brought him to fame. IMDb says it was filmed, in part, in Atlanta. It’s available to stream for free with ads on the Roku Channel (which is available to those with or without a Roku device).
Robert Duvall cause of death
We currently don’t have a confirmed cause of death for Duvall, but his wife Luciana Pedraza said in a Facebook statement he died peacefully at home “surrounded by love and comfort.”
