O Romeo has released in theatres with high expectations as it marks the reunion of Shahid Kapoor and Vishal Bhardwaj. The two have earlier worked together on successful films like Kaminey and Haider. fter a decent start at the box office, the film saw stronger collections over the opening weekend but witnessed a dip as the weekday set in.
The romantic action thriller released over the Valentine’s Day weekend clashed with Tu Yaa Main, starring Shanaya Kapoor and Adarsh Gourav. Let’s check the early numbers from Day 4 at the box office.

The film made around Rs 2.56 crore on Day 4, taking its total earnings in India to Rs 32.71 crore.The movie opened with Rs 8.5 crore on Friday. It saw a big jump on Saturday with Rs 12.65 crore and earned Rs 9 crore on Sunday. But as the weekday began, the numbers fell sharply.
Even though Monday’s drop was expected, trade experts say the film’s overall opening is still decent compared to many recent releases.
On Monday, 16 February 2026, the film recorded an overall Hindi occupancy of 10.19%. Morning shows had lower attendance at 7.12%, while afternoon and evening shows were slightly better at 11.92% and 11.53%. Night shows saw very low turnout.
