The Brown Grand Opera House is bringing back its Classic Movie Series for 2026.
The second annual event will feature a classic film the first Friday of March, April and May, according to a community announcement. All movies will start at 6:30 p.m.
Admission is free, but donations to support the Brown Grand are encouraged. Concessions will also be available for purchase.
The lineup includes the following:
- “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof” on March 6. (not rated).
- “Vertigo” on April 3 (PG).
- “Citizen Kane” on May 1 (PG).
“We are proud to bring back the Classic Movie Series,” said Melissa Swenson, executive director. “It is a joy to reflect on the theatre’s history as it was used as a movie theatre for 50 years.”
