After a steady weekend start, O’Romeo continues to hold its momentum at the box office. The romantic revenge drama, led by Shahid Kapoor and Triptii Dimri, has completed six days in theatres and is gradually moving to cross the Rs 50 crore mark in India. The film faced clash from Tu Ya Main, starring Adarsh Gourav and Shahid Kapoor, but managed to maintain a decent run despite the competition.
O Romeo beats Mardaani 3?
In the first five days, O’Romeo collected around Rs 40 crore at the domestic box office. However, on day 6, the film saw a slight dip. According to early estimates by Sacnilk.com, the movie grossed approximately Rs 3.50 crore on its sixth day. With this, the film’s total India net collection now stands at Rs 43.85 crore. In a day or so, Shahid Kapoor-starrer might beat Rani Mukerji’s Mardaani 3 (Rs 46 crore) in the domestic box office run.

While the weekday earnings show a downward trend, the total six-day collection indicates that the film has managed to maintain audience interest. The makers also shared an update about film’s global performance. Production banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment revealed that O’Romeo has crossed Rs 61.3 crore worldwide. Sharing the numbers on social media, the team thanked audiences across for their unwavering support.

Helmed by Vishal Bhardwaj, O’Romeo stars Shahid Kapoor as Ustara and Triptii Dimri as Afsha Qureshi in the lead roles. Apart from the two, the film also boast an ensemble cast featuring Disha Patani, Vikrant Massey, Farida Jalal, Hussain Dalal, Nana Patekar, Tamannaah Bhatia and Avinash Tiwary in pivotal roles.
O’Romeo marks fourth collaboration between Shahid and Vishal after acclaimed films like Kaminey, Haider and Rangoon.
