Orion’s Mahershala Ali Movie ‘Your Mother Your Mother Your Mother’ Sets Fall Platform Release

EXCLUSIVE: We can tell you first that Orion Pictures‘ Your Mother Your Mother Your Mother, starring 2x Oscar winner Mahershala Ali, will open in New York and Los Angeles theaters on Sept. 25, followed by expansions on Oct. 2 and Oct 9. 

Your Mother Your Mother Your Mother is directed, produced, and written by Bassam Tariq.

Ali stars as Latif, a devoutly religious hitman who struggles to balance work, faith and fatherhood. When his wife dies, he embarks on a desperate journey across Houston to protect his children, confronting the forces closing in around him – and the beliefs threatening to unravel within.

Pic also stars Mahershala Ali alongside John Cho, Abubakr Ali, Laith Nakli, Tramell Tillman, Tiffany Boone, Giancarlo Esposito, and Adia. Lucan Toh and Babak Anvari produced the film alongside Tariq.

There’s a lot of wide entries on Sept. 25 including Bleecker Street’s Cannes title Victorian Psycho, Paramount’s David Ayer directed Brad Pitt movie Heart of the Beast, Disney’s re-release of Avengers: Endgame and Universal’s animated comedy Forgotten Island.
