VICTORIA, Texas – The Victoria Public Library is expanding access to technology and creativity with the addition of a new 3D printing machine designed to serve both children and local businesses in the community.
Library officials said the new equipment gives users more opportunities to design and create their own projects through hands-on learning. While the library has previously offered 3D printing services, the upgraded machine provides additional options and capabilities for users.
Staff members said the program is aimed at helping children learn about technology, engineering and design in an interactive way. Users can create everything from small creative projects to practical everyday items using the equipment.
The program is free and open to the public, making advanced technology more accessible to community members who may not otherwise have access to 3D printing tools.
Library officials also said the technology is not limited to children. Local businesses can use the machine to create prototypes, designs and other custom projects.
Officials hope the new equipment will encourage creativity, innovation and continued learning throughout the community.
Community members interested in using the 3D printer can visit the library for more information about available programs and training opportunities.
