Tirana, September 20, 2024 — Albania is experiencing steady growth in foreign business activity, with recent data showing an increase in the number of international visitors arriving for business purposes. According to the Institute of Statistics (INSTAT), nearly 120,000 foreign citizens traveled to Albania for business in the first seven months of the year, marking a 57% rise compared to the same period last year.
Foreign direct investment (FDI) has also grown, with the Bank of Albania reporting €0.75 billion in FDI inflows during the first half of the year, reflecting an 8% increase from the previous year.
This upward trend highlights improvements in Albania’s business environment, with factors such as infrastructure development and opportunities in tourism contributing to the rise.
