Following a particularly busy summer, with dozens of public festivals and events held throughout Maple Ridge, city council now wants the public’s feedback to help shape future programs.
By answering an online survey, residents can influence the various tourist offerings throughout the city, explained director of economic development Tyler Westover.
“Your feedback is vital to helping us elevate Maple Ridge as a premier tourist destination and drive our economy,” said Westover.
After the survey has closed, city staff will collect and analyze the responses, using them to determine how the city can improve current tourism services and sustainably expand them to attract even more tourists in the coming years.
The survey will remain open until Thursday, Oct. 10, with the results being published and presented to council before the end of the year.
Interested individuals can find the survey at Engage.MapleRidge.ca/TourismSurvey.
