THE Marianas Business Network is pleased to announce its next networking mixer event on Wednesday, September 25th, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Tom Yum Restaurant in San Antonio, across from the Pacific Islands Club.
This free event will feature CNMI Secretary of Labor Leila Staffler as the keynote speaker for the first hour. Secretary Staffler will share valuable insights on the latest labor regulations, workforce development initiatives, and business opportunities in the CNMI. Following the presentation, participants will have a chance to network and engage with local business owners, freelancers, and aspiring entrepreneurs, fostering collaboration and growth within the business community.
The Marianas Business Network is an informal consortium of small businesses in Saipan, dedicated to fostering mutual support, networking, and referral services. With no membership fees, the group encourages accessibility and inclusivity, welcoming all who are interested in growing their businesses or expanding their professional networks.
“We are thrilled to have Secretary Leila Staffler as our guest speaker for this event. Her insights will be invaluable for anyone navigating the local labor market or looking to hire within the CNMI,” said PK Phommachanh-Daigo, a representative of the Marianas Business Network. “We encourage freelancers, small business owners, and anyone interested in learning more about labor and business opportunities to join us.”
