BERLIN — As the beginning of banned books week approaches, the Berlin-Peck Memorial Library chose to embrace forbidden and challenged books in its Saturday morning book club.
This past Saturday, the book club held its regular meeting of the month. While typically all members read the same book and then discuss it together, this meeting was different. The librarian in charge of the club, Laurie Finke, decided this meeting would focus on banned books, and so each member read a different book.
