Tailevu Naitasiri was the first team to book their spot in the semi-finals of 2024 FMF Inter-District Championship (IDC) Premier Division, following their 4-1 win over Savusavu FC yesterday at Churchill Park in Lautoka.
On Tuesday, in their opening match, Tailevu Naitasiri had beaten Tavua by 2-0, while Nasinu and Bua played to a two-all draw in the Premier competition.
In their second match yesterday, Bua FC came from behind to hold Virtual Flex Lami FC to a two-all draw in the Premier Division.
Lami’s Semi Volitivuravura was awarded as the match-of-the match.
In the Senior Category, Dreketi, Nadogo, and Northland Tailevu FC have each secured three points. Nadogo won 3-2 against Taveuni, and Dreketi beat Seaqaqa 4-0 today. Seaqaqa and Rakiraki FC both have one point after their 0-0 draw on day one.
The semi-finalists will be decided after tomorrow’s matches: Northland Tailevu vs. Taveuni, and Dreketi vs. Rakiraki FC.
