Nickelboys
Two young Black men strike up a friendship as they look to “survive a brutal reformatory sunk deep in the Jim Crow South,” according to the film’s official logline. Based on the Colson Whitehead novel, this film arrives in theaters Dec. 13, but local audiences can get an early look at the Twin Cities Film Festival on Saturday, Oct. 26.
