CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KFVS) – Do you ever miss the thrill of going to your school’s book fair?
They usually had fun posters, 3D bookmarks, candy in a jar, and, of course, books.
On Saturday, October 19, Scout Hall in Cape Girardeau brought the nostalgia back with their very own Grown-up Book Fair.
There were books galore, along with plenty of space to chill out and read a new find.
They had a bar with book-themed drinks, free coffee from Ground-A-Bout, a library card scavenger hunt, and a DIY crafts table to let your creativity flow.
They also had some art for sale, courtesy of the Arts Council.
The event sold out quickly but according to the Facebook event page, they might have a Spring version next year.
