NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – UPDATE: Police have identified the man shot and killed in a Madison business’ parking lot on Saturday night.
The victim has been identified as Edin Delacruz-Reyes.
Metro Nashville police said a small group of men had reportedly gathered during the evening in the back parking lot. The motive of the shooting is under investigation, police said.
“Anyone with information regarding the murder is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463. Callers can remain anonymous and qualify for a $5,000 cash reward in homicide cases,” police said.
PREVIOUS: The Metro Nashville Police Department is investigating after a man was shot and killed in a parking lot behind a business in Madison.
The shooting happened around 9:30 p.m. at 1320 Gallatin Pike South.
When officers arrived, they found a 28-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds.
Police said he was transported to Skyline Medical Center where he died.

Officials added that they’re working to notify the victim’s family.
