Portland’s powerful business coalition has dropped more than $80,000 on advertisements to attack Multnomah County commission candidate Shannon Singleton and boost her rival Sam Adams.
The Coalition for Portland’s Future, which is funded by a business and industry backed group associated with the Portland Metro Chamber, reported on Oct. 17 that it spent $41,270 on mailers to oppose Singleton and an equal amount on mailers to support Adams, campaign finance records show.
