JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) – The Friends of the Craighead County Jonesboro Public Library hosted a book sale all day Friday, Oct. 25.
People could come in and fill a bag full of books for a set price, and the funds from the sale go right back to the library.
“The books come from a combination of your older books at the library that are not checking out as well at the library anymore and were kind of removed from the collection, and then also donations that we get from individuals,” said Valerie Carroll, President of Friends of CCJPL.“It’s been to the wall since 9 a.m. this morning, people came right in.”
“We’ve had a really good and steady flow of traffic, so if you want to get some good books, I recommend sooner rather than later, because they are definitely getting looked at,” said Carroll.
The sale will be available Saturday, Oct. 26, from 12:00 p.m. until 4 p.m.
