Amelia’s Children OTT Release Date: The Portuguese horror flick Amelia’s Children, which stars Brigette Lundy-Paine and Carloto Cotta in lead roles, is now available for streaming online.
Helmed and written by Gabriel Abrantes, the thriller entertainer graced the theaters earlier this year on January 18th, 2024 & received a decent reception from the cinephiles. Currently, fans can enjoy it on Amazon Prime Video where it is streaming online in both Hindi and English language.
However, it is important to note here that only those who have a subscription to Amazon Prime’s services will get to enjoy the movie on the OTT platform.
Plot of the film
Determined to reunite with his biological family, Edward, with the help of a genealogy application, finds out that his separated loved ones are residing in Portugal.
Accompanied by his girlfriend, the guy then travels all the way to the South American country where he learns that his estranged mother Amelia is living a low-key life with his twin brother in a villa.
However, things take a dramatic turn when Edward & his girlfriend decide to stay in the former’s mother’s house for a night, only to find a series of dark secrets associated with the family that will haunt the duo for the rest of their lives. What happens next is the remaining story of the film.

Amelia’s Children boasts a stellar star cast that features renowned actors like Alba Baptista, Carloto Cotta, Rita Blanco, Anabela Moreira, Nuno Nolasco, Beatriz Maia, Sónia Balacó and Brigette Lundy-Paine amongst others essaying key roles. Gabriel Abrantes and Margarida Lucas have produced the movie under the banner of Artificial Humors.
