Peerless and Dirac have announced a partnership to integrate Dirac’s Dirac Live room correction software into Peerless’ Flow DSP audio development platform. This collaboration aims to simplify the implementation of advanced room correction for home and professional audio manufacturers.
The integration allows manufacturers to use Dirac’s room correction technology with Peerless’ Flow DSP, a platform optimized for audio quality and flexibility. Currently available on specific architectures like Cortex-A and platforms such as Raspberry Pi and Amlogic A113X2, this solution can expand to additional platforms based on customer needs. This setup allows brands to incorporate room correction software without extensive development, reducing time and complexity in product design. Peerless’ background in acoustic technology supports Flow DSP’s ability to fine-tune sound quality for various audio products.

Dirac Live is designed to optimize both magnitude and phase in sound systems, delivering clearer sound, improved bass, and balanced staging. For home and professional audio systems, these corrections can address acoustic issues that hardware adjustments alone may not resolve.
