Measure 4A is a Lake County School District issue that would approve an increase to the district’s mill levy override for a total of an additional $1,200,000 annually to be used for staff recruitment and retention as well as maintenance and capital renewal. The increase would last for 16 years.
Finally, 6A is a Leadville Lake County Regional Housing Authority (LLCRHA) issue that proposes that LLCRHA be exempt from limitations on spending the revenue it generates provided that the spending is only for LLCRHA’s statutory purposes. The measure is not a tax increase and only affects LLCRHA’s ability to spend or save existing funds.
