West of Fennario at Bricks on Main: 6 p.m. Saturday, Bricks on Main/Miss Krissy’s Bistro, 471 Main St., Longmont. West of Fennario is a brand new band playing a blend of rock, blues, folk and jam genres, with a heavy emphasis on the music of the Grateful Dead. Formed in March of 2024 in Denver, the group bonded over their love of the Grateful Dead and set out to honor the original sentiment of Dead tunes while adding different flavors from their own musical backgrounds. Since their formation, the band, named for the mythic town of Fennario, has developed a repertoire that spans the Dead catalogue as well as covers from other artists of the era and is delving into original music as well.
