Book enthusiasts, music fans, and movie lovers are invited to browse the Library’s diverse collection, which includes a wide range of genres and titles for all ages. This is an excellent opportunity to expand personal libraries and collections at an affordable price. The sale takes place Saturday, November 9th, from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm and Sunday, November 10th, from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm.
“There’s something for everyone,” says Fort Saskatchewan Public Library’s Robina Sobey, “We have cookbooks, children’s graphic novels, teen fiction, baby board books, classics, adult mysteries, westerns, inspirational, romance, children’s and adult movies and even a Christmas collection!”
In addition to offering value to the community, the annual book sale serves as a fundraiser for the Fort Saskatchewan Public Library, with all proceeds directly supporting the Library’s operations, programs, and services. By participating in this event, the community not only gain deals on quality media but also plays a crucial role in the ongoing enrichment and sustainability of the Library.
For those wanting to contribute in other ways, the Library accepts gently used book donations for the book sale and all year round. The only requirement is that books be in good condition and published within the last ten years. The Library no longer accepts cassette tapes, VHS tapes, magazines, encyclopedias, textbooks, or National Geographic magazines.
