KALISPELL, Mont. — Toys for Tots in Flathead and Lincoln County are teaming up with Barnes and Noble in Kalispell to get books for children this holiday season.
The event takes place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Nov. 9 and 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Nov. 10.
Local author Jess E. Owen will be signing her books on Nov. 9.
Toys for Tots in Flathead and Lincoln County are expected to help 4,000 children this holiday season.
“When you go in and purchase books, you just let them know at the register “I like part of this to go to Toys for Tots”, said Kelly King, Flathead and Lincoln County Toys for Tots coordinator. “They will scan a barcode. We receive funds to go back into Barnes and Noble and shop for more books with. Or you can buy us books and drop them off to use because we will be out there.”
