I feel very privileged to have been asked, for the fourth time in a row, to judge the year’s best book at the An Post Irish Book Awards.
My fellow judges include Elaina Ryan (CEO of Children’s Books Ireland), critic and broadcaster Alex Clark, Cyril McGrane (director of international trade at An Post) and Maria Dickenson – the MD of Dubray Books (who will also chair proceedings).
