LACKAWANNA COUNTY, Pa. — The Friends of the Valley Community Library on River Street in Peckville held their fall book sale on November 16.
The event, which allowed folks to fill their baggie with books for just $5, lasted from 12 to 2 p.m. and was in support of the Valley Community Library.
“Everybody that’s here loves books. Their purpose is to get books out for people to read and have community and we get to meet people and talk about books and we just, it, it’s like a love affair with the community and books.” Said Lynda Gelik a member of the Friends of the Valley Community Library.
