HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) – The Huntsville and Madison County communities came together on Saturday to celebrate the resiliency of small businesses.
At St. Luke Christian Church, an array of minority-owned businesses were the focal point for the Black Business Expo.
Vendors within the community from start-ups to seasoned businesses shared their insights.
One of the co-founders, Vicki Morris, said the event aims to showcase businesses that don’t have the time to promote their brand.
“This is an opportunity, a lot of business owners, you know maybe they have a 9 to 5, maybe they’re doing their passion business on the side, they don’t have the time to put into marketing it and just getting that exposure,” said Morris. “This event helps them get that exposure.”
The free event offered free business seminars for business owners looking to grow their enterprises.
