Husband-and-wife duo Courtney and Robert Simms are the faces behind Winter Park Storks and More, a yard sign rental company specializing in announcing birth announcements with a stork sign in your front yard. The business began when the Simmses wanted to celebrate the arrival of their nephew but couldn’t find a local option that encompassed how much they wanted to honor their new family member. The pair set up their first stork sign around Thanksgiving 2023, and since then the business has sold well over a hundred signs celebrating Orlando babies’ births.
Courtney Simms wrote that the best part of the job is getting to celebrate such a special moment in so many families’ lives. She wrote that setting up stork signs for new families “is a moment that they will remember forever coming home and seeing a stork in their yard and getting a picture in front of it.”
