This is a press release from KEET-TV:
Eureka, CA-KEET-TV, the Redwood Coast community PBS station, is excited to announce its first-ever International Travel Auction, offering members and supporters a unique opportunity to Travel for a Good Cause. Participants can bid on Trips of a Lifetime to some of the world’s most captivating destinations—all while supporting their favorite nonprofit. Registration is open now, and the online auction will run from Sunday, November 17 at 1:00 a.m. through Saturday, November 23 at 11:59 p.m.
There are more than nine amazing trips to bid on. From the romance of Paris to the emerald coasts of Ireland and the highlands of Scotland, there is a trip for every bidder. These trips may be taken anytime in the next three years—a very generous travel window. Each unique trip is designed for two travelers. There are no blackout dates and an AmFund Travel Specialist will help you schedule everything. By taking the trip of your dreams, you get to see the world while helping KEET. A portion of all proceeds will go to support the station and the great local and national PBS programming.
KEET’s Travel Auction is open to all interested travelers and is an excellent gift for honeymooners, new graduates, and anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion. Packages are highly customizable, and each adventure provides the rare chance to make memories while supporting KEET-TV’s mission.
“We’re thrilled to offer these incredible travel experiences, which allow our supporters to explore the world while directly supporting KEET’s mission,” says David Gordon, Executive Director of KEET-TV. “Each bid not only gives you the chance to enjoy a dream vacation, but also strengthens our ability to bring high-quality PBS programming to our community. It’s truly a win-win!”
Since its founding over 50 years ago, KEET has been a dedicated media partner for Northern California’s coastal communities, offering trusted programming that educates, entertains, and enriches our viewers. This auction supports not only local initiatives but also KEET’s commitment to the best of PBS’s national programming.
