Many actresses have always said that they are not ready to kiss on-screen. Not just actresses, even actors have many times kept these clauses that they would not kiss on-screen. There is one such actress who has worked in more than 70 films and did some amazing movies in the past. She is still one of the most gorgeous women and has a huge fan following. She was always appreciated for her performances and she literally made everyone fall in love with her looks. However, she was once made to cry by a director as she signed a movie with him. He did not give her fees for the movie.
A kiss scene which made THIS actress very uncomfortable
We are talking about veteran actress Meenakshi Seshadri. She did a film titled Daakait in 1987. Rahul Rawail was the director at that time and he made her cry. She told Friday Talkies that Rahul Rawail came to her and she was excited to be working with a director who made successful movies. But, he clearly told her that Sunny Deol is in the main role in Daakait and his family will be given more importance.
And Meenakshi Seshadri would be shown in 5-6 scenes and 2-3 songs, which will be very good and the content will also be strong. He also told her that he shows his heroines beautiful and Meenakshi said that he does not need to convince a her further.
Meenakshi Seshadri then revealed that he made her cry while signing the film and clearly refused to pay her fees. He told her that she is working with him and that is only a big fee. She was a big fan of his and hence agreed. She spoke to Zoom TV once and revealed how she was even made to kiss during a scene in that movie.
She explained that she and Sunny Deol shot a romantic song where he kissed her and she was nervous as she was very conservative. She added that it was a real kiss but Sunny Deol is a nice person and was very easy-going, which made the shoot go smoothly.
However, the kiss scene was cut by the censor board but Daakait became a superhit film.
