The United States, China, South Korea, Finland and Singapore have become the top five countries in the latest global index on digital development. The ranking is part of the World Internet Development report released at the World Internet Conference in Wuzhen, China. The head of the Chinese government think tank behind the findings, without naming names, slammed “certain countries” for their pursuits of “tech hegemony.” CNA’s Tan Yew Guan reports.
