JACKSON, NJ — Late Thursday night, firefighters responded to a fire that engulfed four commercial vehicles at a business near the intersection of Sterling Avenue and Edison Avenue at H.D. Rosetto, a construction waste removal company.
The Whitesville Volunteer Fire Department arrived on the scene alongside units from Station 55 and Station 56 to find the vehicles fully engulfed in flames. Firefighters worked for nearly two hours to contain and extinguish the fire.
The cause of the blaze was not immediately clear, and no injuries were reported. Officials have not released details about the business or the estimated damages caused by the fire.
“Members operated for almost two hours before everyone safely returned to quarters,” the Whitesville Volunteer Fire Department noted in a public statement.
Investigations into the fire are ongoing.
Four vehicles were destroyed in the late-night blaze, but firefighters successfully prevented the flames from spreading further.
