FARGO — West Acres Shopping Center is now home to a Gigi’s Cupcakes.
The store is owned by sisters Jamie Clayborn and Jessie Evanson, who opened their first Gigi’s Cupcakes at 1650 45th St. S. in Fargo in 2014.

Gigi’s is known for their gourmet cupcakes with the signature frosting swirl, but they also sell cookies, brownies, cheesecakes and other sweet treats.
Finders Keepers Market planned Dec. 7-8
FARGO — The Finders Keepers Market, a special Christmas bazaar, will be held Dec. 7 and 8 at the Ivy + Rose Warehouse, 22 14 1/2 St. N., Fargo.
The event will feature multiple vendors under one roof.
Hours will be 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Dec. 7 for early-bird ticket holders and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. to the general public. The event resumes Dec. 8 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
A $1 entry fee will be collected and donated to a local food pantry.

Xcel Energy Holiday Lights Parade planned Dec. 7
FARGO — The Xcel Energy Holiday Lights Parade will be held at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, in downtown Fargo.
Hosted by the Downtown Community Partnership, the parade is considered the annual kick-off to the holiday season for the Fargo-Moorhead community.
The route will follow First Avenue North from Eighth Street in Moorhead to Third Street in Fargo, head south one block to Northern Pacific Avenue and follow that road to Broadway, where floats will continue north to Fourth Avenue.
