The Joyland Theatre will be bringing in free Christmas movies to the public every Saturday at 2 p.m. starting on November 30.

Grab your popcorn because the Joyland Theatre is partnering with the Town of Strathmore to bring some Christmas cheer to movie lovers.
Starting on November 30 the theatre will offer free movies to residents every Saturday starting at 2 p.m.
Jeff Larson, co-owner of the theatre says each organization has offered the fun pastime to residents for the past few years.
“They basically rent the theatre for the showing and then we let everyone in for free.”
A movie poster for the free films that will be offered at the Joyland Theatre. According to Larson, five movies were played last year. However in 2024 there will be four leading up to Christmas.
“This brings in a different group of people that I think usually don’t come or maybe they can’t afford to come,” mentioned Larson. “The kids really enjoy seeing those films too.”
