After the success of Raktabeej last Puja, Shiboprosad Mukherjee and Nandita Roy’s Bohurupi practically broke all the records at the box office. It is doing good outside Bengal as well. Now, as per the production house Windows, the film is a success in Australia also.
Recently, Windows stated that two shows were held in Australia and New Zealand and both were houseful. One and a half months after the release, the film has 97 shows in Kolkata and the suburbs.
This Puja, along with Bohurupi, Srijit Mukherji’s Tekka, and Pathikrit Basu’s Shastri released. Bohurupi beat the other two films at the box office. According to the most recent reports, Bohurupi earned a bit more than Rs 15 cr all over India. Tekka also earned well.
A few days back, Shiboprosad told the media, “I think I am dreaming. I want it to go on. I never thought that people would clap at my entry.” Koushani Mukherjee’s performance has also garnered a lot of positive reviews. Abir Chatterjee and Ritabhari Chakraborty are also stunning.
Bohurupi will complete 50 days on November 26. Another Windows film, Amar Boss, will be screened on that day at the International Film Festival of India which is running in Goa.
