Dermot O’Leary, who joined Cat Deeley to present This Morning today, revealed he has “unfinished business” with one of the judges from The Great British Bake Off.
The ITV host confessed that he was “upset at the time” when judge Prue Leith aimed a rather brutal dig at him after he received one of Bake Off’s famous ‘Hollywood Handshakes’ from Paul Hollywood himself.
He recalled how he had felt proud of his culinary creation, before Prue’s harsh critique brought him crashing back down to earth.
Prue apparently told Dermot that she “wouldn’t have given him a handshake” for his baked goods – and now the This Morning host says they have “unfinished business” as she prepares to guest star on the show tomorrow.
When Cat asked Dermot if the exchange had “upset” him, he admitted: “At the time it did.”
