PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — A popular oyster bar in Pittsburgh’s Lawrenceville neighborhood has announced it will be closing for good next week.
The bar and restaurant announced on social media earlier this week that they’re closing on December 4.
The owners say they decision to close wasn’t an easy one and say they’re “grateful for the memories, laughter, and love” that have been shared over the past seven years.
The Lawrenceville spot has been known for its fresh oysters, lobster rolls, and chowders, among other seafood items.
A final service event called “Last Shucking Good Time” will be held at the bar and restaurant on December 4, starting at 5:30 p.m.
Tickets to the event are $90 and will include drink tickets and stationed food with all of the restaurant’s favorite menu items.
There will also be live music.
