Kansas’s Republican delegates certified the 2024 election results, the final step in the state before the votes are certified by the United States Congress on Jan. 6.
The six Republican presidential electors signed more than 20 copies certifying their votes for President Donald Trump. They are as follows:
- Kansas Republican Party Chair Mike Brown.
- Kristi Brown, Johnson County Republican Party chairwoman.
- Maria Holiday, former state legislator.
- Republican national committeeman Mark Kahrs.
- Kansas Republican Party Vice Chair Cheryl Reynolds.
- Kansas Republican Party treasurer Alan Townsend.
“This is a way it was what makes our democracy system so unique is it’s not by popular vote. It gives the states a fair balance and make sure that all states are addressed,” Kansas Secretary of State Scott Schwab said. “Once every four years, that the winning party gets to vote on who they want to be president.”
