ANDERSON, Calif. – More than $2,000 in stolen property from a local business was located in a motorhome by the Anderson Police Department on Saturday night, January 11, 2025 during a traffic stop and business theft investigation.
At approximately 10:45 p.m. an employee from the unidentified business reported that 43-year-old Jesse Munger of Anderson “was attempting to sell several items stolen from the business.”
Police were “directed to Munger’s motorhome, which officers said was being driven north on Highway 273 with one of the popout slides partially extended.
A traffic stop was initiated and police said some of the stolen property was in plain view. A search let to the recovery of more than $2,000 in property that belonged to the business.
Munger was arrested for possessing the stolen property and for having prior theft-related convictions that makes him potentially liable for more severe repercussions due to recent changes in state law since the passage of Proposition 36.
