Bo Bo Film Production, The Ray Film Production and the cast crew of the ‘Sareitta II’ movie donated bus fares worth 10-day rides on 9 January. “They donated 10-day bus fares for public free rides on five YBS buses. Starting from 10 January, they donated for 50 days – 10 days each for five times. We are happy to accept and welcome such donations so that the public can ride for free,” said YRTC joint secretary U Lyan Cing Mang. The bus lines receiving donations include YBS 28 and YBS 145 from YUPT Company on 10-19 and 20-29 January, YBS 61 from Khit Thit Bayintnaung Company from 30 January-8 February, and YBS 89 and YBS 107 from YBPC Company on 9-18 and 19-29 February.
“Two lines – YBS 89 and YBS 107 – from YBPC Company are included. We will put a free ride vinyl in front of these buses. Our bus lines will run on the same routes as before,” said U Kyaw Zin Min, in-charge of YBPC Company.
The movie ‘Sareitta II’ was released in November 2024. While a movie is usually allowed to show only for a week in cinemas, ‘Sareitta II’ was so successful that its show period was extended to two consecutive weeks. — MT/ZN
