A new €7 million interactive darts bar is set to open in Dublin city centre in a major boost to the Irish capital’s nightlife scene.
International darts bar Flight Club focuses on the game of social darts and aims “to reinvent the sport for the 21st century” by developing a range of fast and exciting multi-player games designed to bring people together and keep players hooked and entertained.
The venue offers guests the chance to play various games which are a twist on traditional darts, as well as offering cocktails and delicious sharing plates.

The idea of social darts was developed alongside Dr. Jason Dale, a former NASA astrophysicist, who worked tirelessly to take the complicated maths element out of the beloved activity. Social darts includes built-in cameras to track your every throw, with live replays flashing across the screen, and shareable highlights sent straight to your phone.
First founded in London back in 2015, Flight Club now has 24 venues across the UK, United States and Australia.
The trailblazing bar is now set to open its first Irish venue on February 7 in the heart of Dublin City at 35/36 Dawson Street, in the former home of Sams Bar and Samsara.
Flight Club’s new Irish location is described as ‘a game-changing social experience’, blending high-tech Social Darts with stunning fairground-inspired interiors and a world-class cocktail menu. Following an extensive €7 million renovation, the 8,000 sq/ft venue promises to be a standout destination for everything from casual nights out to large-scale corporate events.
The Dublin spot will feature semi-private oches (darts areas) and fairground-inspired décor, as well as a dazzling 360 degree bar and a menu packed with crowd-pleasing small plates, artisan pizzas, and spectacular cocktails.
Flight Club boasts an extensive cocktail menu featuring signature creations and classic favourites, such as spicy margaritas and espresso martinis. Not to be forgotten is Flight Club’s famous show-stopping trophy cocktail, served in a stunning trophy cup.
The venue has six continuously evolving immersive games to explore, and the ability to cater to 12 people around an oche, and up to 500 players in an epic tournament style hosted by an expert Gamesmaster.
“As someone who’s passionate about Dublin’s vibrant social scene, I couldn’t be more excited to introduce Flight Club to Ireland. This is more than a bar—it’s a place to create memories, celebrate with friends, and embrace the magic of Social Darts. We’re thrilled to bring something truly unique to Dawson Street,” said Andrew Fisher, who is heading up Flight Club’s first Dublin venue.
Stephen Cooney, Director and co-founder of Loyola Group, added: “We are thrilled to be opening the first Flight Club in Dublin on 7th February. We met Steve (Moore) and Paul (Barham), founders of Flight Club, some five years ago. During this time, we have watched Flight Club grow into one of the biggest and most exciting social entertainment businesses worldwide.
“We have worked patiently to find the perfect location for Ireland’s first Flight Club. Dawson Street, Dublin 2 is a fitting address for Flight Club and together with the Red Engine team, we will deliver a unique and thrilling venue that Dublin has been waiting for!”
Flight Club officially opens to the public on Friday, February 7 and those who fancy themselves to be a mini Luke Littler can book their place now at www.flightclubdarts.com/ie.
