Parents in Jasper and Walker County can now take advantage of a Birmingham-based program that will provide free books to kids up to 5 years of age.
Catherine Goudreau, executive director of Better Basics, was the guest speaker at last week’s meeting of the Kiwanis Club of Jasper and told club members about the program and its offerings.
