Area libraries received a gift of 100 new children’s books. These books range in age from pre-kindergarten picture books to early readers.
The books were a donation from the Brownstone Book Fund, a private foundation in New York City, interested in fostering early reading, a love of books, and encouraging parents and children to read together.
Patrons are invited to come explore and enjoy the new collection of books at the Clermont, Elgin, Hawkeye, Maynard, or Westgate public libraries.
